The news comes directly from TikTok, which today announced i text post, a new feature that incorporates textual content from Twitter. The text content is already available for a select number of TikTok accounts, and you can try it out by following a few simple steps.
How text posts will work on TikTok
From today when you access the app’s camera, you can choose between three different options: photos, videos and text. By tapping on the text option, you will be taken to the content creation page. Here you can write your own post. In addition to text, you can also add music, place tags, hashtags, and even duets.

It must be said that unlike Twitter and Threads, the new TikTok feature is not as intuitive and fluid as one would expect. After all, however, we are still talking about a platform created to share video content.
