Ubisoft, at the Ghost Recon 20th Anniversary Showcase, announced Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Frontline, a new free-to-play PvP shooter, set in the Ghost Recon universe. The game will be available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Stadia, Luna e Windows PC tramite Ubisoft Connect, with cross-play available at launch. Developed by Ubisoft Bucharest, who previously worked on Ghost Recon Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Ghost Recon Frontline offers you a new way to explore the Ghost Recon universe, with a military, free-to-play, PvP, first-person experience. with more than 100 players.
In Ghost Recon Frontline, you will discover Drakemoor Island, an open world filled with landmarks and biomes. The game includes a wide range of tactical support equipment that offer total freedom in strategic planning in different ways. Expedition, the main game mode, offers a new take on the battle royale genre.
With more than 100 players in groups of three, sees teams working together to complete objectives across the huge circle-less map that narrows down the action area. Once you have gathered the necessary information, you will need to go to the drop zone and ask for a drawing. As soon as this is done, all teams will know the location of the draw and will try to intervene: you will have to plan a tactic to be able to escape and win the match.
Here are the classes available in game:
- Robbery: great support in close combat and during exploration maneuvers.
- Support: Offers great protection with fortification skills.
- Recon: Can easily scout the area for the team, discovering and attacking enemies from a distance, without fear of retaliation.
You can switch between the different mercenaries even in the heart of a battle, making each game a unique and extremely tactical experience. The first Ghost Recon Frontline closed test will begin on October 14th for European PC players only.
