Twitch announced a new initiative to reward its users: the Round bonusa series of offers, discounts and bonuses that will be available for a limited period, during the Christmas holidays.
Twitch Bonus Round: discounts and rewards for users
The Bonus Round follows the success of SUBtember, the annual event that offers discounts on subscriptions to your favorite channels. This year, Twitch has decided to extend the promotions also into December, with two types of promotions:
- From December 13th to January 2ndall recurring subscriptions (monthly, quarterly or annual) will have one 25% discount on the original price. This means you can support your favorite creators at a lower cost, and enjoy exclusive subscriber benefits like personalized emoticons, chat access and ad-free viewing.
- From December 27th to January 2ndeven the single months given as a gift will have one 25% discount. This means that you can give a special gift to another user, allowing them to subscribe to a channel of their choice for free.
I Bonus
In addition to discounts on subscriptions, Twitch has also introduced new bonuses to make cheering on the channels more fun and rewarding. The bonuses are as follows:
- From 13th to 20th December the new bit bonus arrives. Twitch will add 10% to cheering with at least 300 bits, with the possibility of larger special surprise bonuses from time to time.
- For the duration of the event, channels that launch a Hype Train will benefit from a new themed Hype Train, complete with new level 1-5 emoticons.
- For the duration of the event, all channels will also benefit from new themed featured cheering. A special way to stand out on your favorite channels. Just check the “Put your support front and center” box.
