The author of the post did not particularly sugarcoat the terms used to describe the business strategy, although in all honesty (after a promising share momentum) there is little to tone down.

Dozens of similar posts allude to Twitter’s payment requirement as something that isn’t necessarily inevitable, even if it’s imminent. Whether it is something that the tycoon and his subordinate Linda Yaccarino have come to terms with will remain to be seen. For now, as the tweet in the last lines reminds us, there is no shortage of alternatives like Mastodon, and considering that even Meta’s counterpart – Threads – is inaccessible in Italy due to European regulation, Musk is definitely on thin ice.
