Fans of the Resident Evil saga can rejoice: two of the most famous chapters of Capcom’s survival horror franchise will soon arrive on the new ones iPhone 15 Pro e iPhone 15 Pro Maxthanks to the power of the A17 Pro chip.
In particular we talk about Resident Evil 4 e Resident Evil Villagetwo titles that have made the history of the genre and which can now be played natively on a smartphone for the first time.
What will Resident Evil be like on iPhone?
Both games take advantage of Capcom’s RE ENGINE, the proprietary graphics engine that fully supports Metal, Apple’s advanced graphics technology. Thanks to this, the games offer a visual fidelity comparable to that of the latest home consoles, complete with HDR support. Additionally, the games support a wide range of game controllers and multi-touch with on-screen controls, allowing players to customize their gaming experience.
The games will also support the cross-progression, so that players’ progress is synced between iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Village will be available on the App Store later this year. Resident Evil Village will also be available on iPad Air and iPad Pro with M1 chip or later.
