With a scoop on the new Steel Panther song, Unplugged players on Quest and PC VR will be able to enjoy some healthy rock’n’roll this holiday season.
Unplugged VR also comes to PC with a new song
Good news for rock’n’roll PC users: the music game Unplugged, is about to be released on PC VR. The release is scheduled for tomorrow, December 2, only with headphones compatible with the Valve Index Controller. To accompany the PC VR release, Vertigo Games revealed a new and exclusive Steel Panther song that will be included in the game at launch. The song is a free update for both Meta Quest and PC VR. The Quest version of the game will also include mixed reality with Quest Passthrough.
With Steel Panther’s inimitable front-man Satchel as in-game mentor and their song “Eyes of the Panther” as part of the Unplugged setlist, the rock band has already shown great support for the game. Now they are taking it a step further by introducing an exclusive, title-tailored song. The song will be revealed for the first time on December 2nd, along with the PC VR version and the free update for Quest.
The Quest Passthrough arrives tomorrow: your home becomes a stage!
On December 2, Unplugged will also receive Quest Passtrough, which will allow players to merge the virtual stage with their living room. Anotherway, particularly enthusiastic about the feature implementation, declares:
“We always knew that merging a virtual stage with a real seat would be a super cool feature for Unplugged. Seeing your friends or family cheering you on as you play… it’s a perfect combination! Now, thanks to Quest Passthrough, we can make this kind of experience possible. In the list of locations, you can select a new one, the mixed reality, which can be your living room, your kitchen or any space you want! “
