Meta has announced a new integration between its social networks, which allows you to share WhatsApp status on Instagram. The feature, spotted in the latest beta of the application, makes it easier to express yourself across all of the group’s platforms.
Instagram, WhatsApp status sharing arrives on the social network
According to what was reported by the specialized site WABetaInfo (via Repubblica), the beta version 2.23.26.17 of the messaging application allows users to export WhatsApp status directly to Instagram.
From what emerged, after creating a status for your profile on WhatsApp, you will also have the opportunity to share it on the Meta photography social network, thanks ton further icon dedicated to direct sharing.
Although it is not yet clear whether we will be able to share WhatsApp statuses, we will share them as a Story on Instagram, it certainly seems like that will be the case. A bit like what already happens with sharing from WhatsApp to Facebook. According to information from WABetaInfo, the feature could be activated through the app’s Settings. But it seems like the process cannot be automated, publishing on WhatsApp to also see the Stories on Facebook and Instagram. We will therefore have to press the dedicated button each time.
This news allows you to further integrate Meta’s social networks, making it easier to use them all. In this way, Meta can increase the amount of content on all platforms, improving its business on each of its social networks. And for us users it makes sharing easier.
