The designer spoke on the Fable issue John Fernandez, who talked in detail about some of the issues that the studio encountered during the development of the game. As we anticipated at the beginning, what we know about this new chapter of Fable is really very little, given that the game was shown in a simple teaser trailer now two years ago, but according to the information disclosed so far it should be a reboot full blown franchise, which will usher in the beginning of a new era.
According to what has emerged in recent months, however, this elusive Fable 4 may not be the role-playing game we were hoping for, but rather a MMO set in the world of Fable. The news came from a well-known insider with a good record of rumors that later proved to be authentic, so it is at least to be taken into consideration.
Alongside this rumor, there is also an alleged leak, which would reveal that the new chapter of the franchise is instead a GDR open world single player classico, where it will be possible to visit different planets and which may even include time travel at some point in the story.
