About three weeks ago, the indiscretion of an iOS WhatsApp option that allowed users to hide their online status was leaked on the Net. And now, after some time, that same function seems to be integrated in the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android. To reveal it, as you can imagine, is WABeta Info. As you can see in the screen that has shared below, the platform plans to introduce a new section in Privacy settings> Last seen: last seen and online. And in this space you can decide who can see when you are online through two options.

The first option is “All”, and the second is “As last seen”. In the latter case, choosing this item WhatsApp will copy the setting from the last seen. This means that if users cannot see your online status or your last login for past settings, by choosing the second option they will still not be able to see when you are active on the App. In any case, at the moment this feature is still under development on the WhatsApp beta, but we are sure that the platform could make it available soon.
