WhatsApp could soon introduce a controversial change in its policies on privacy, despite this the application seems too used and widespread to really risk failure, despite several users are migrating to Telegram. Meanwhile, the version WhatsApp beta 2.21.33.14 is implementing an option that allows you to hide information related toLast Access from specific contacts.
WhatsApp: soon we will be able to hide the last access for specific users
In the current version, WhatsApp only allows three options to share the user’s last login. It is possible to allow anyone who has our number to see it, make it visible only to people saved in their contacts, or to no one. The new solution simplifies everything, allowing the majority of their friends and family to see the last access, giving us the possibility to exclude individual contacts.
Other messaging applications have long since solved this problem, albeit in different ways: for example, Telegram reverses the approach of WhatsApp and allows you to choose specific contacts with whom you can always share your last login. This way you can create a small list of trusted friends and family, a simpler process than locating all your business contacts, and other people you don’t want to share your status with.
At the moment, this last login sharing change has not been fully implemented in WhatsApp and is only available in the beta version of the application. If you are interested, you can download the WhatsApp beta on APK Mirror, usually you can also register through the Play Store, but it appears that the program is currently fully booked.
