WhatsApp continues to be enriched with features with the introduction of Community. This is a new feature that allows administrators to connect up to 10 different groups by creating a real forum within the app with lots of separate discussions, for example, by topic. WhatsApp is preparing to launch Communities
Community functionality is currently being tested. These days, the beta version of the WhatsApp app for iPhone has integrated the Community function by making available to testers the possibility of using the new service. The tests are ongoing and, in the near future, the Communities will also be available on other versions of the messaging application. More details regarding the release timing of the Communities for the stable version of the app will arrive in the next few days or at most in the next few weeks.
The characteristics of the new function
The first tests confirm that the WhatsApp Communities should guarantee nnew useful tools for users. For example, different groups belonging to the same company will be able to use WhatsApp to coordinate by creating multiple discussions on various topics.
Communities will also have a group called Ads where moderators will be able to post messages and notices. It should also be noted that if a user leaves the community, he will no longer be able to access the groups that were part of it, if not already entered individually in them.
