How does laser dust detection work in Dyson V15 Detect?
As mentioned, the main feature of this product is its laser detection system, let’s see how it works in detail.
Laser dust detection is able to detect all dust particles invisible to the naked eye as anticipated, thanks to a perfectly inclined green laser integrated into the brush named Fluffy. The acoustic dust detection gives the security of a thorough cleaning. How did the idea of laser detection come about?

The idea came precisely when a Dyson engineer who noticed how the airborne particles in the house glowed in the sun. From this observation of daily life a real research phase starts to understand how to apply this phenomenon to fine dust invisible to the naked eye.
