Remake for PlayStation: the announcement coming?
Speaking yesterday on the show Lunchbox of the Irish radio station WLR FM, the Irish folk singer Eve McMahon confirmed to having recorded a song with Michael McGlynn by a great playstation remake which will be revealed to December. The singer revealed:
Michael contacted me and said “listen, we’re writing music for a remake of a PlayStation game”. He does it often, he has written for various very famous games while I am not a gamer. For years I was not allowed to know. You know, sometimes you don’t know what you’re writing for, it’s kind of a secret because they don’t want anyone to know. It will actually be announced at Christmas, the name of the game. I’ve heard about it now and it’s confirmed to me that it’s a great game, which is great. So there will be an Irish language piece in the game, it’s wonderful.
Right now, it’s impossible to say which “great PlayStation game” will be redone. Recent rumors circulating online suggest that great PlayStation games like Bloodborne e Metal Gear Solid 3 will be remastered or redone but it is unlikely that a piece in Irish language fits into the world and setting of the From Software or Konami title.
With no PlayStation events scheduled for December, there’s a good chance this big remake could be announced during The Game Awards this year, which will be held on December 9, 2021.
