Will Overwatch 2 have the Battle Pass? Let’s try to understand more
The expectation is growing for Overwatch 2, whose official release is set for April 26. And the closer you get to the release date, the more rumors and leaks come out. EuroGamer has indeed reported that some leaked screenshots would suggest that the game menu may include a Battle Pass system.
One screenshot in particular – showing the detail of an entry called the Battle Pass. At the moment we don’t know if this screen is recent. In fact, it could be an old version of the menu. At the moment Blizzard, the game’s developer, has never mentioned such progression and rewards system.
Battle Passes generally consist of a real money subscription, which allows users to obtain exclusive rewards in the form of items, cosmetics and weapons. This is a typical system of free-to-play games (such as Fortnite or Valorant). And if we know something about Overwatch 2 for sure, it’s that it will definitely not be a free title.
