Today the puzzle is enriched with a new piece, a piece that focuses on “match day”, or on all those elements that apparently surround the game experience but which actually help fans to fully immerse themselves in the football atmosphere.
Match day in FIFA 23
It starts with the right warm-up. And no, not the one in the field. We are talking about the introduction of high-energy scenes outside and inside the stadium, designed to create anticipation and give more drama to the clashes.
FIFA 23 finally renews the playing field, which is now consumed by slides, sprints and clashes. You will then be able to see the mud emerge from a practically indented lawn, with the blades of grass with now being incredibly realistic.
Networks have also been improved, with new 3D textures and ripples that are created when the ball hits the goal. A small element that brings the new chapter of the football series closer to reality.
They also arrive then replays with augmented reality overlays, with graphics that provide more information on free kicks and shots, including expected goals, shooting power, distance to goal and much more.
FIFA 23 also brings with it new crowd details, now more varied, with new types of clothing and designed to make states even more alive. They also come female match officials, with mixed gender match officials teams also in FUT and Pro Clubs.
The FIFA Trainer has also been redonewith a more modern and visual design, while the new cameras with shallow depth of field bring a new level of visual quality, adapting to the style of football broadcasts.
Finally, great attention is also paid to the audio sector with two interesting new features. First of all you can decide to listen to the FIFA 23 soundtrack instead of the commentary; secondly they arrive new post-goal sound effects, like sirens, buzzers and animal sounds.
