X, the social network formerly known as Twitter, is about to renew its Premium subscription offer. In fact, X will introduce three new subscription plans: Premium Basic, Premium Standard e Premium Plus.
X may introduce three new subscription plans
Currently, this social network’s Premium subscription service offers access to advanced features such as undoing tweets sent by mistake and an ad-free experience. But an X user found in the X code references to three new types of subscription.
The first level, called “Premium Basic“, appears to offer an experience with ads in the “For You” feed. So, it seems that although they will have access to the advanced features and the “blue tick”, they will see all the ads that those who don’t pay see.
The second level, called “Premium Standard“, promises “half ads” in the “For you” feed. Only the third level,”Premium More”, promises an ad-free experience in the “For You” feed. This means that users who opt for this tier will not see advertisements while scrolling through the social network’s main feed. But ads could still appear in replies to tweetsthe type of ad used to pay creators on the platform.
At the moment, no details have been provided on the price of these new Premium membership levels, nor was any further information made available on the exact differences between the plans. It could simply be a test, however it seems like an option that the social network would be considering.
