Xiaomi presented, with a dedicated event held in Barcelona, Xiaomi 14 Series, the latest series of flagship-level smartphones. Another important piece that confirms Xiaomi’s commitment to offering extraordinary experiences to users all over the world. The solid e strategic partnership between Xiaomi and Leicaborn in 2022, has in fact revolutionized the mobile imaging sector.
Xiaomi 14 Series today represents the highest point of this collaboration, incorporating the Leica Summilux optics. This integration features the most advanced optical concepts and product design, and consolidates Xiaomi’s position as a global leader in mobile imaging innovation.
Xiaomi 14 Series: flagship-level professional imaging, unrivaled performance and innovative design
Inspired by the aesthetics of traditional cameras, Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a distinctive circular camera module with a flat and linear design on the back and is available in two classic colors, Black and White, in international markets. Xiaomi 14 Ultra was designed around the solid Xiaomi Guardian Structure, composed of a high-strength aluminum frame, a layer of nano-tech vegan leather and the Xiaomi Shield Glass. Crafted from a single block of aluminum, Xiaomi 14 Ultra offers a significantly improved frame strength of 1.38 times. Xiaomi’s signature nano-tech vegan leather features a newly developed formula, resulting in a thinner, lighter finish with 6x better wear resistance.
Using Xiaomi Shield Glass, the innovative All Around Liquid Display, Xiaomi 14 Ultra redefines the display by achieving uniform curvature on all sides and corners, perfectly blending the visual appeal of a flat screen with the tactile feedback of a curved edge. An immersive visual experience thanks to the display AMOLED C8 WQHD+ 6.73”characterized by an extraordinary WQHD+ resolution (3200 x 1440), a pixel density of 522 PPI and a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz, all supported by an astonishing peak brightness of 3000 nits.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a professional quad-camera setup with a notable focal length range, from 12mm to 120mm. The main camera, featuring a continuously variable aperture of ƒ/1.63-ƒ/4.0, offers continuous iris exposure adjustments. The integration of a LYT-900 1-inch ultra-large image sensor with a dynamic range of up to 14EV it guarantees exceptional quality. The quad camera setup is completed by the 75mm telephoto lens with floating lenses with macro function, the 120mm Leica periscope lens with macro functions and the 12mm Leica ultra-wide camera.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra is a leader in the mobile imaging sector thanks to support for 8K shooting at 30fps on all four cameras. Thanks to the Leica optics and the presence of a 1” 50MP sensor, captures unprecedented cinematic imagery in 8K video, delivering incredible dynamic range while facilitating professional editing in post-production. The main camera supports 4K shooting at 120fps and is adaptable to effects slow-motion 5x. In addition to 4K resolution, it also offers full-range zoom at 60fps. The device also supports Dolby Vision 4K shooting at 60fps and has image stabilization, for smooth video capture. An additional microphone has been added to form a 4-microphone array, allowing for both surround sound recording and directional sound recording.
To enable a professional videography experience, the new Movie mode introduces film industry practices such as 2.39:1 aspect ratio and 180° shutter, delivering videos with an authentic cinematic look and motion blur. The brand new MasterCinema encodes videos HDR in Rec.2020 a 10bit to capture even more details, highlights and shadows, surpassing the previous 8-bit BT.709 standard, especially on HDR screens. Director mode offers a professional-level interface with advanced parameter controls and log format recording for flexible post-production.
Presented together with Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the new Xiaomi 14 Ultra Photography Kit It is designed for all video and photography enthusiasts, and offers additional functionality with a dedicated grip and case. The kit also includes a two-stage shutter button, a zoom lever, a customizable video record button and an additional customizable dial for fine exposure control.
Xiaomi 14 Series: compact dimensions, cutting-edge images and an uncompromising experience
Designed as a daily companion with a compact design, Xiaomi 14 measures just 152.8mm x 71.5mm x 8.20mm. Its slightly curved back panel offers a comfortable and secure grip, allowing for extended use. The minimalist aesthetic was achieved by repositioning the speaker on the display and the infrared port on the camera module, offering a clean look on the top and side bezels. The ultra-thin frame design uses the advanced FIAA technology to integrate the panel circuitry within the display, resulting in a lower bezel of just 1.71mm – for an immersive viewing experience.
Xiaomi 14 comes with a full triple-camera setup to deliver an all-round photography experience, and covers a wide focal range from 14mm to 75mm. Xiaomi 14 is designed with Leica Summilux lenses that offer an aperture of ƒ/1.6 on the main camera, combined with the custom image sensor for Xiaomi Light Fusion 900, and with a dynamic range of up to 13.5EV. Furthermore, the resolution of the Leica 14mm ultra-wide-angle camera has been increased to 50MP and also offers the acclaimed Leica 75mm floating lens telephoto lens, with a minimum focusing distance of just 10cm.
In terms of display, Xiaomi 14 comes with an amazing one schermo CrystalRes AMOLED 1.5K (2670 x 1200) 6.36″. The pixel density of the screen has been increased to 460 PPI, to offer even more details. Thanks to the exceptional 3000 nits brightness, colors are vibrant and images remain sharp even in direct sunlight. Furthermore, the variable refresh rate, from 1 to 120Hz, ensures a smooth and continuous viewing experience during all activities, including browsing, reading and gaming.
