Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro is official, the new tablet from the Chinese company with 3K display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
In addition to the new top of the range smartphone Xiaomi 14 Ultrathe Chinese company also announced a new tablet in China: Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro. The device expands the Pad 6 range, which already includes the basic model, the Pro version and the Max (never left the Chinese borders).
Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro: design and features
The design of the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro follows that of the other tablets in the Pad 6 series, with flat edges and a rear square island for the photographic compartment. The tablet is compatible with the accessories already made by Xiaomi for the series, such as the magnetic keyboard and the stylus.
The screen is a LCD IPS “Sunshine” da 12,4 pollici with 3K resolution (3048×2032 pixels), 3:2 format, refresh rate up to 144Hz and peak brightness of 900 nits. The display supports DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR 10, HDR Vivid and Dolby Vision.
Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro: hardware e software
The beating heart of the tablet is the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 from 3.19 GHz at 4nm, supported by 8/12 or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage space.
The battery is a 10,000 mAh (a double 5000 mAh) with support for 120 W fast charging and 22.5 W pogo-pin charging. On the connectivity side, we find a USB-C 3.2 Gen1 port, WiFi-7 802.11 a/b /g/n/ac/ax dual band e Bluetooth 5.3.
Camera and audio
The photographic section is composed of a 50 MP main sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. The front camera has a 32 MP sensor.
The tablet is equipped with six stereo speakers, supports the Dolby Atmos and has Hi-Res and Hi-Res wireless audio certification. Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro is the first Xiaomi tablet to be natively equipped with the HyperOS operating system.
Availability and price
The tablet is available in China in three color variants: green, light blue and black. The price starts at 3,299 Chinese yuan (approx 424 euro) for the basic variant from 8 GB + 256 GB. At the moment, there is no information regarding the possible arrival of the tablet on the global market.
