All major platforms are adopting artificial intelligence to improve its service. It’s no different YouTubewhich is testing conversational AI for users who use the video platform, but also to help them navigate comments better.
AI test for YouTube begins
YouTube is testing artificial intelligence to make using the platform even more efficient. Specifically, there will be a new “Ask” button on the page of the video you are viewing to allow you to interact with the AI to find out more about the content that the video offers.
Responses are generated by large language models (LLMs)although it is not specified, and “draw on information” from YouTube and the Web.
When the user interacts with YouTube’s AI, the data that is entered will be used to send feedback in using this new feature. Furthermore, the company is keen to point out that the introduction of artificial intelligence it will no longer mean advertising.
Meanwhile, YouTube also uses artificial intelligence for oOrganize comment sections of long-form videos. When you open the comments section on your mobile device, you’ll notice the new “Topics” button on some videos. It appears next to the “Main” and “Most Recent” options.

Artificial intelligence regulated by a code of conduct
There are many platforms that are using AI for their own interests and until now it has never been regulated with very specific rules. In fact, the G7 countries have established a code that allows the regulation of the use of artificial intelligence by companies. The goal is to limit the risks and abuse that this technology can cause. The law will be called AI Act and provides, in fact, the correct use of artificial intelligence.
The code of conduct on artificial intelligence, called AI Act, is the result of the work of the AI Hiroshima Process. It provides 11 points that companies will have to respect to ensure security and transparency in the development of new technology.
The AI Act calls on companies to put in place the right measures to identify, evaluate and mitigate i risks throughout the AI lifecycle. As well as finding solutions for any accidents and misuse of technology, after the launch of AI systems on the market.
