If you are still using a e-reader Amazon Kindle from first O second generation, it is probably the case to download all titles right away of your reading list. Amazon has indeed revealed that these devices they will no longer be able to connect to Internet.
“Mobile network operators (MNOs) are phasing out their 2G and 3G networks,” explains an Amazon help page. “Kindle devices that require cellular connectivity through 2G or 3G networks for internet connectivity will not be able to connect to the internet after these networks are interrupted.”
In particular, this applies to Kindles of first e second generation and al Kindle DX. As mobile networks phase out 2G and 3G connections this year, none of them will be able to connect to the internet anymore. Users they will still be able to read the titles previously downloaded, or transfer new compatible titles to their device via cavo micro-USB.
