A new roguelike shooter called Into The Pit was also shown from the stage of the Xbox Games Showcase, of which a very fast and colorful trailer was also shown
After E3 2021, Sony’s State of Play in July and QuakeCon 2021 have passed, summer comes to an end with the arrival of Gamescom 2021, whose Opening Night will go live tomorrow evening at 8pm. The main event, however, was anticipated by a conference from Microsoft, an Xbox Games Showcase to be exact, which is going live right now and which you can also follow from official player of the Xbox YouTube channel. There are many news coming, in particular of titles already announced, and we are obviously all waiting for the official release date of Halo Infinite. However, there was also room for some unannounced titles, such as Into the Pit.
Into the Pit is a first-person action shooter with roguelike elements of which a trailer was also shown, which you can find right below in the middle of the article. From the presentation video we were able to notice, first of all, a decent dose of adrenaline-pumping, fast-paced and entertaining action, as well as a large number of special effects on the screen that at first disoriented us, then only fascinated us. As great lovers of roguelikes (someone here is getting their life stolen by Hades), we are really curious to find out more.
Into the Pit announced from the Xbox Games Showcase stage
We already have a release date for Into the Pit, set for next October 19th, and we also already know that it will be available for free for Xbox Game Pass subscribers since Day One. Another valuable addition, albeit minor, to the huge catalog of Microsoft’s subscription offer, which is gradually expanding.
