Microsoft unveils new range of devices with Windows 11
With an announcement arrived today, Microsoft unveils the widest range of devices Microsoft Surface. These, equipped with Windows 11, will be available from 5 October. These are devices characterized by the incredible synergy between hardware and software, for a usability that marks new heights in the history of the brand.
The new lineup includes:
- The new Surface Laptop Studio, which is proposed as a renewed interpretation of the concept of laptop.
- New entry in the Surface 2-in-1 family with Pro 8, the new Go 3, news for the Pro X, without forgetting the extension of the appreciated Surface Pro 7+ also for consumer users.
- The new Surface Duo 2, available only for business users.
- An exclusive series of accessories, including the new one Surface Slim Pen 2
The first product to land on the market is the Surface Laptop Studio, available for both consumer and business. This is the most powerful laptop in the history of the range, designed for professionals and developers, but also creatives and gamers. All the power of a desktop computer combined with the convenience of a laptop. Excellent product also for designers and creatives, given the presence of the new one Dynamic Woven Hinge ultra resistant. This allows the transition from Laptop mode, to Stage mode, up to Studio mode.
The three Microsoft Surface 2-in-1s
Three new 2-in-1s by Microsoft Surface announced, ideal products for those looking for versatile and practical devices. The first is the Surface Pro 8 that, thanks to the processor 11th Generation Intel Core and two Thunderbolt ports, it becomes the most powerful 2-in-1 of the Surface family. The other is instead the SurfaceGo 3, whose password is versatility. The device is powered by Intel Core processors and provides an autonomy that can cover an entire day of work. Last, but definitely not least, we find the Pro X, now available in the Wi-Fi only version. All three products will be available in both consumer and business versions.
Consumer and business devices and accessories
The much appreciated Surface Pro 7+, until now only available for Business, is ready to arrive also on the consumer channel. This is an ideal device for those who love classic design but are looking for ultra-modern performance. In addition to providing Windows 11, the Surface Pro 7+ comes with a more extended battery, LTE and removable SSD.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2
Good news for business users too, since the expected Surface Duo 2 has finally been revealed. Compared to its predecessor, the new model features a renewed design and a greater propensity for productivity. The screen is in fact larger, the battery more durable and the camera more dynamic thanks to the triple lens. The device also supports 5G and is capable of multitasking like never before. Surface Due 2 also has integration with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams.
The new accessories of the Surface range
Numerous PC accessories are also on the way, optimized for the new Surface range with Windows 11. Among these we find the new one Surface Slim Pen 2, featuring a slim and easy-to-grip design. Slim Pen 2 is able to return the entire writing experience even on the screen. The new Ocean Plastic Mouse instead it is an eco-friendly mouse. This is made up partly of recycled plastic from the oceans and beaches. Finally we find the Microsoft Modern USB-C Headphones, certified for Microsoft Teams, with high quality audio and voice capabilities.
Prices and availability
The consumer version of Surface Go3 will be available in Platinum color a starting from 5 October at the price of 449,00 €. The pre-order is available on the Microsoft Store which, starting today, offers the 5% discount for students, parents, teachers on the new device. Starting from tomorrow, however, it will be possible to pre-order the business version, in the Platinum color and in the wifi variant.
Also Surface Pro 7+ in the consumer version it will be available from 5 October. On the contrary, the availabilities for Laptop Studio, Pro 8 e Pro X with Windows 11 pre-installed are scheduled for January 2022. For those wishing to buy Surface Duo 2, the date to be marked on the calendar is that of November 15th.
