A new rumor, spread on the net in the past few hours, would like Nintendo to work on the Remaster version of the first chapter of Metroid Prime, and therefore not of the entire original trilogy
Metroid fans report! Admit it, you are no longer in the skin of being able to finally put your hand on Metroid Dread (and maybe even on a Nintendo Switch OLED!) in a couple of weeks, more precisely next 8 October. Let’s admit that the fact that Metroid Prime 4 has almost gone vaporware, with a Nintendo that keeps saying that yes, it’s in development, but then just shows some teaser with the logo, is pretty demeaning for all of you, okay. A little more patience, however, and we will finally be able to take back the shoes (or rather the armor) of Samus and embark on an epic adventure.
The announcement of Metroid Dread did, at the time, stir the powerful waters of the rumors about a rumored remastered version of the original Metroid Prime trilogy on Nintendo Switch. It is really several months that we talk about it, but Nintendo has neither denied nor confirmed any rumors. And, just in the past few hours, another voice has been added which, however, sees only the first chapter of the trilogy, Metroid Prime, as the protagonist. According to insider Emily Rogers, who recently posted interesting news on Twitter, the company would be working not on the remaster of the trilogy, but only on the re-release of the first original chapter which should arrive in 2022 and coincide with the twentieth anniversary of the series.
Tune in at 00:00 on the night of September 23-24 for a #NintendoDirect of about 40 minutes dedicated mainly to games for #NintendoSwitch coming this winter.

Metroid Prime Trilogy Remaster? Or maybe just the first chapter? Who knows!
Rogers said she’s not sure, in all honesty, if that means the other chapters will be remastered in the future as well. And, let’s be honest, considering Nintendo policy, it won’t be hard to see a Metroid Prime remastered for the modest sum of € 60. Who knows, on the other hand, a new Nintendo Direct is planned for tonight full of interesting news, so we can really expect everything!
