Port Royale 4, for next generation consoles, includes an extraordinary game world in 4K on PS5 and Xbox Series X (1080p on Xbox Series S). The title includes features of cross-gen saving and real-time cloud rendering and is available in Standard and Extended digital editions. A physical Extended Edition is also available at select retailers.
Become the undisputed King of the Caribbean
In Port Royale 4 you will be able to join the colonial powers of Spain, England, France and the Netherlands. These are all engaged in their struggle for Caribbean supremacy in the 17th century. Once you have chosen your faction, you will take control of a colony as an ambitious young governor. You will need to learn how to manage and grow your small settlement in a bustling commercial city. To do this you will need to learn how to develop production chains that connect multiple islands, creating complex trade routes across the Caribbean.
The needs of cities will always be different, and it will be up to you to be able to meet them. Thanks to the detailed sea map, you can optimize transport, avoiding stormy regions or waters that are difficult to navigate. Do not forget that the Caribbean is not a peaceful place: naval battles are just around the corner (or it would be better to say behind the wave). These take place in turns, with up to 8 ships in battle at the same time.
