Directly from the Capcom conference at the Tokyo Game Show, the release date of Monster Hunter Rise on PC via Steam has been revealed: discover it with us
The conferences at the Tokyo Game Show are following one after the other, and after the disappointment of Xbox (find our recap at this link!) It is finally time for Capcom too. And, of course, where Capcom is, there is also Monster Hunter. Considering that It has been a long time since Rise fans have been waiting for some news on the eventual PC version, which had already been talked about last February, without having any other details, the stage of TGS 2021 seemed to us the best opportunity for the company to finally step forward. And so it actually was!
Capcom has indeed announced that Monster Hunter Rise will arrive on PC via Steam on January 12, 2022. The title will also receive a substantial expansion over the course of next summer, called Sunbreak, which will add Malzeno, a new Elder Dragon, along with a new portion of the story and new areas to explore. The expansion will be available simultaneously on both Nintendo Switch and PC. To celebrate the announcement, Capcom has also released a new trailer, which we leave you below.
Tokyo Game Show 2021: Monster Hunter Rise arrives on PC on January 12th!
The PC version of Monster Hunter Rise will include several graphics options to satisfy all palates. The 4K resolution, with high resolution texture, framerate unlocked and the support for 21: 9 ultrawide monitors. Capcom has also planned a demo version coming to Steam on October 13th, which will be somewhat similar to the second demo released at the time on the Nintendo Switch, where we were able to hunt down the Magnamalo.
