A PS5 version of The Ascent may be in the Neon Giant software plans. Let’s find out all the details together
Neon Giant, the developers behind the acclaimed The Ascent, have recently responded to users clamoring for a PS5 version of their cyberpunk action RPG. The title (of which you can find our review here) is currently only available on PCs and consoles from Microsoft, leaving Sony users dry-mouthed. But things may soon change.

Originally released as a PC and Xbox exclusive (both Series X / S and One), and available from day one on Xbox Game Pass, Neon Giant’s latest effort has been positively received by audiences and critics alike. However, the title has remained until today closed to owners of PlayStation consoles, who have recently begun to openly express the desire to be able to get their hands on the game too.

Recently, however, through the official Twitter account of The Ascent, the developers have responded to PS5 users, letting them know that they are aware of the great demand for the title, and to keep an eye on the official channels of the same for any future updates. Although it is not an absolute certainty, the words of the guys from Neon Giant still bode well for a version of The Ascent for the Sony console. We look forward to official updates on this.
