As mentioned on the official website from publisher Square Enix, This new 60 FPS patch for Life is Strange: True Colors will add the option to set the mode to high resolution or on High performance for consoles next gen. Whereas the title was locked at 30 FPS, also for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, this is certainly a welcome addition for fans of the game. That update is available from now for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, while the October 6 for all other platforms.
In addition to this console fix, too the Steam version of the game will receive several new features: we are talking about the support for HDR and the resolution of some problems related to framerate, which in some specific moments tended to decline. Additionally, Deck Nine announced that it is currently investigating some issues players are experiencing with Life Is Strange: True Colors – Wavelengths, to be able to fix them in a future patch.
