Acer announces new devices in its antimicrobial device portfolio by including multiple product lines aimed at professionals and consumers. Acer has extended its antimicrobial treatments to some certified “Works With Chromebook” accessories approved by Google as complying with their compatibility standards. Accessories connect directly to Chromebooks and feature upgradeable firmware that makes compatibility with current and future peripherals possible.
Acer Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse KM501 set is treated with silver ion antimicrobial solution, Antimicrobial 360 Design on most of its surfaces and is designed to complement all features of Chrome OS. In addition, both the keyboard and mouse can support a full year of use before replacing the batteries.
Acer Bluetooth Mouse B501 is treated with silver ion antimicrobial solution, Antimicrobial 360 Design on most surfaces, has a sensitivity of 1,000 DPI and is designed to be used by right and left handed people. It is available as a bundle in the KM501 set or individually.
