To accompany the news, Vertigo Games has released a new trailer on the immersive experience that this title is able to convey. Here it is below
Ricardo Acosta, founder and creative director of Anotherway, saw his project conceived during the 2020 lockdown, transform into a complete rock and roll VR experience. “Seeing the game evolve and come true has been one of the most rewarding things in our life. Unplugged started out as a small project born of passion in the midst of the pandemic. It’s been a year and a half since we had the initial idea and in that time we got to work with dozens of extremely talented people and some of the world’s leading companies in technology, virtual reality and music. It was a blast and we can’t wait to turn people’s living rooms into their own rock stage! “
Unplugged offers immersive air guitar gameplay through the use of hand-tracking technology, world famous rock songs, industry guitar and amp brands, and an experienced all-star rock team behind the game. At launch, Unplugged includes over 20 songs, composed by some of the greatest rock bands ever. There are six brands of real guitars and amps in the game, Satchel from the rock band Steel Panther will be your mentor and personal guide on the adventure.
