Since the introduction of the multi-device, WhatsApp is improving a lot desktop platform, introducing several improvements and new features. The development team also opened a beta program for the desktop, which allows them to release features for beta testers.
Unfortunately, the team isn’t releasing a new feature today. However WhatsApp one is improving so that it can come with a future update. We are talking about the possibility of manage your privacy settings.
In reality, it is not possible to manage the privacy settings within WhatsApp Desktop: users must necessarily use WhatsApp on theirs smartphone to change the settings and who can see their personal information. As multi-device is helping WhatsApp Desktop to be smartphone independent, the WhatsApp team plans to introduce the missing functions.
When the future update is available, it will be possible to manage the privacy settings within the WhatsApp Desktop settings.

Furthermore, it is possible activate O deactivate the blue reading ticks and you can choose by whom to be added in the various groups. It was already possible to manage blocked phone numbers, but the option will be moved to this new section.
Yesterday, however, WhatsApp also released a new update for Beta, which brought the version of the application dedicated to beta testers to the number 2.21.22.8. The update added some cool features to the system, including the ability to create new skin tone combinations for couple emojis.
