In the past few hours, Thunderful Games has announced, through its official channels, the release date of The Gunk, the third-person action-adventure exclusive to Xbox
The world of Microsoft exclusives is timidly expanding with many titles other than Forza Horizon or Halo, probably even of lower objective quality, but with an enviable spirit behind them. The Gunk is one such video game, developed by Thunderful Games (the creators of the SteamWorld series) and announced in the summer of last year. We all expected it in September, but the developers had to postpone it, promising, however, that it would still be released by the end of the year. And it looks like it’s a promise that will be kept.
The Gunk will be released next December 16 on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S., in short, just over a month from today. Last year, director Ulf Hartelius also said that for now it is not the company’s plans to bring the title to PlayStation or Nintendo Switch platforms as well. The Gunk: the release date is set for December 16
The game will put us in the shoes of two space explorers who find themselves landing on a rather dangerous planet and plagued by a slimy and corrosive substance. The gameplay will mainly focus on exploration, the couple’s survival skills, gathering resources and the inevitable crafting.
Official therefore: the release date of The Gunk is set a little over a month from now, December 1, 6, and we can’t wait to finally get our hands on it.
