Lorenzo Savadori makes his MotoGP debut with Aprilia
First of all I want to thank Bradley for his commitment this season, he has held the unexpected role of owner on his shoulders with great dignity and with good evidence and his contribution has been invaluable. Now we are excitedly awaiting Lorenzo’s debut, this promotion is certainly a recognition of the great season he played, as a CIV rider, dominating the Superbike. But it is also a growth step for a rider who will be a tester of our RS-GP also in 2021, conducting our very young project also in the race will certainly be a step forward for Lorenzo and therefore for all of Aprilia Racing.
Massimo Rivola (CEO Aprilia Racing) said this, and then Lorenzo Savadori himself continued saying:
To say that I am happy is an understatement and I want to immediately thank Aprilia Racing for the great opportunity. I arrive prepared for the appointment, thanks both to the work done during the tests on the RS-GP, and to the season just ended in the CIV, a challenging championship that forced me to be in top form and maximum concentration. Now I have to rearrange my ideas, take advantage of the kilometers traveled on the RS-GP and be ready and concentrated for the first practice session.
