First look at the Kia EV6 restyling!

Announced a few years ago, now we finally have the chance to take a first look at the new Kia EV6 in the first images which give us a small preview of what we will see at the presentation event

The car was presented in 2021 by Kia Motors itself and now the car is preparing to face the classic restyling. This redesign was shown in advance with some teaser images which showed the front and rear side of the car. We do not know yet when they release the facelift on the market, nor the mechanics that we will find on the Korean electric crossover, but there isn't much left until the reveal. The only thing we know now is the headlights of the Kia EV6 2024, which have a light signature made of LEDs, both on the front and rear of the vehicle. On the front we see that the Korean electric car has a angular “C” design and embraces part of the mask. The latter is also redesigned and is much thinner than the current version. Behind, the classic arch remains which no longer has the light segments on the sides, but continues uninterrupted until it reaches the wheel arches.

What to expect from the Kia EV6 restyling

As we have already said, unfortunately we do not yet know the technical details of the restyling of the Kia EV6. But we can base ourselves on the Hyundai Ioniq 5, with which shares the same platform. We expect the restyling to have a new, more powerful 84 kWH battery instead of the current 77.4, in order to add more autonomy. Speaking instead of the motorization, we could expect some increase in power, with the range counting on 4 different versions. The versions we will see will in fact be the 170, 228, 352 e 585 CVthe latter, however, will be reserved for the GT, which is the most extreme of all.

What do you think? What can we expect from the restyling version? We'll just have to wait a few more weeks and they'll finally show us the car in all its glory. Continue to follow us on techgameworld.com for other news from the world of motors and much more.
