This is the case with the OneOdio Pro M Studio Wireless that we will go to analyze thoroughly in this review. How will these headphones behave which, according to the company, are designed for both normal life and gaming? We just have to start to find out together.

The headphones come in a standard package of the minimum size to contain everything inside. Despite the small size, we can see on the outside all useful information relating to the product without the visual impact being affected. Inside we find some booklets related to use, the same headphones inside a black leatherette bag, the USB type-C charging cable, the jack cable with boom microphone and volume control is one splitter to connect the latter to a sound card with double output.
The headphones come with a aggressive yet elegant design. They are completely resealable, making it even easier to transport in the special bag. They are mostly made of a plastic material that still gives an excellent feeling and a very important sense of robustness. The headband presents a plastic and metal core, which gives strength and flexibility. The same is then covered with an imitation leather covering which has a padding only in the underlying part.
The pavilions externally present the motif that distinguishes all the company’s products and which recalls the much loved vinyls. At the center instead we find the logo of the same. In contact with the ear instead there is a fairly stiff padding compared to that of the Monitor 60, covered by the same imitation leather covering. On the right pavilion we find then 3.5mm jack input, the indicator light indicating the status of the device, the integrated microphone, the controls for the volume and the multifunctional button to turn on / off the device and give the various commands. With a weight of 250 g without cable, the OneOdio Pro M are certainly positioned among the lighter models, despite the size of the device suggests the opposite. The shape of the arch, combined with the joints that allow the pavilions to be closed, allow a comfortable use of the device even for those with a rather large head. This also provides a good fit if you wear a pair of glasses, also allowing long gaming or listening sessions without any discomfort.
A structure of this kind, however, does not imply a too “soft” dressing for those with a small head, quite the contrary. The headphones fit great, guaranteeing one firm grip in any situation. However, although the general structure in itself allows a lot of comfort in every situation, the first problems arise from the pavilions side. The ear pocket formed by the padding turns out to be slightly small for one of medium size.
Since the necessary space is not guaranteed, therefore, rather compact padding, which on the one hand can offer good insulation, will press on our ears. This causes a slight discomfort which in the long run turns into real pain in longer sessions. An over-ear design therefore not entirely respected, at least for those who don’t have a pair of small ears.

Let’s put aside the design and structure of the headphones now and finally talk in this review on the OneOdio Pro M about the most important aspect of a pair of headphones: operation and audio quality. I must admit I was very surprised. Although they cannot be compared to real top of the range, the sound quality and battery life are really good. However the microphones, both the boom and the one integrated into the pavilion wirelessly, are not up to par.
Let’s start with this last mode. The connection with our device is really immediate thanks to the use of Bluetooth 5.0 which also guarantees good reception even if the device is not located very close or if there is some wall in between. You can then move in complete peace of mind without signal loss. Also good is the possibility of being able to connect two devices at the same time for alternating music playback.
In this mode, the battery will last very long, guaranteeing you hours and hours of play, music and playback of your favorite movies and TV series even over several days. With a daily use of 10 hours we arrived at cover almost entirely a week. Of course, the duration is very subjective as well it also depends on the volume level at which you listen to everything. To recharge them completely it will take about 2.5 hours. This is thanks to the choice of adopting the USB type-C standard for charging.
However, if you don’t want to wait that long, you just need to connect the cable to continue undisturbed. I found very convenient the 3.5 mm jack input on the right pavilion. In fact, we often find ourselves with the case on that side and this prevents the thread from having to “cut” our body to get to the other side. So it will therefore be easier to play, with a thread that goes up the side instead of the chest.
The cable also includes the boom microphone, in addition to the volume regulator with attached button to change the same. The latter though it doesn’t measure up to the device itself. The voice during conversations will turn out slightly metallic and often, precisely because of the proximity to our lips, a too high volume of the voice will cause the typical “pop” which could annoy our interlocutors. The microphone wirelessly instead it tends to muffle everything it records, however, conversations were more fluid.

Whether wirelessly or wired, the sound is very clear and well defined. Obviously, as mentioned before, the quality is not comparable to that of a top of the range for obvious reasons. However i 50mm neodymium driver they perform excellently in their work, guaranteeing one very satisfying overall quality. Whether you choose to use it wired or wireless, you will have gods clear bass and clear highs.
They are very suitable for games where opponents’ footsteps matter most. Then using these headphones on FPS will allow you to have the maximum yield. If, on the other hand, you decide to play them on titles with very important soundtracks, you will not have the same performance as for example with the Monitor 60, but you will still be able to enjoy the experience.
Final remarks
We have now reached the end of this review on the OneOdio Pro M and it is therefore time to take stock. This type of headphones comes with a very aggressive, but at the same time elegant style. Whether you use them wirelessly or with the appropriate cable, you will have a sound quality that knows how to defend itself on every occasion. Of course, they are not comparable to the top of the range, but on FPS games they defend themselves really well. Malino instead the microphones, both the integrated one and the boom one, not up to par.
The structure is solid and robust and ensures a good fit whether you have glasses or maybe a slightly larger than average head. However, a sore point also comes in this sense. The lining of the pavilions it does not guarantee sufficient space for our ears. Despite being over-ear we will therefore end up with the lining that will press on the ears, making the experience somewhat uncomfortable in the long run.
All this also affects thesoundproofing that will be compromised from this very aspect. Therefore, if you have large enough ears, prolonged use is not recommended.
