Teoresi, a company with advanced engineering skills, told the way in which the skills in smart mobility and autonomous driving can be put at the service ofaerospace. On the occasion ofAerospace & Defense Meetings Torino, an event dedicated to the aerospace sector, Teoresi has unveiled its innovative transformative method. This method can be applied to transfer skills from the automotive to the aerospace sector.
The challenges of aerospace start with skills in smart mobility and autonomous driving
During the Aerospace & Defense Meeting Turin, Teoresi described how to deal with aerosapce challenges thanks to the experience and skills gained in the smart mobility sector and in particular in the automotive sector. These skills are related to the control of electronic control units and systems, of localization and reprogramming and remote control.
Furthermore, elements such as the management of software for “saftey critical” systems and the development and validation of applications and prototypes also come into play. Teoresi is now able to present itself on the market as a partner and supplier of plug and paly solutions applicable to all types of industry, including the aerospace sector. Confirming this is the admission of Teoresi as a member of Board of the Piedmont Aerospace District. The Teoresi method provides a system of crossfertilization and, therefore, the ability to transfer skills from one area to another in a transformative way.
The company comment
Fabio Gadda, Marketing Program Manager of Teoresi, points out: “Is driving a car alone like driving a drone? Obviously not, but Teoresi’s job is to distill these skills and technologies to transfer them to a contiguous market. Our experiences in the field of Human Machine Interaction, electric powertrain and autonomous driving can certainly be applied to the world of aircraft “
Gadda also points out those who are thereand possible applications of urban air mobility over the foreseeable future. In the short term, in fact, it will be possible to “use drones for aircraft security checks at airports”. In the future, moreover, it is possible to imagine a real one urban mobility revolution with the traffic of people and goods that will be moved from earth to sky “with flying taxis and driverless parcel delivery services”.
