PostePay Down: for some hours there have been problems on the site and app

A week that started very badly for PostePay and Bancoposta users, who have been experiencing a downturn in web services since this morning. Problems also for the SPID.

Unable to access and check the account: the down of PostePay

The down by PostePay and Bancoposta it started around hours 11:30 of this morning, December 13, 2021, and does not seem to want to stop. Users found themselves unable to ad access online accounts, pouring out their anger on various social networks. In particular, by attacking the official pages of Poste Italiane. The latter, at the moment, has not officially replied to the inefficiencies.

The down seems to concern in particular access to the platform, and the problems encountered are mainly two: “Authentication failed” and Error GC01. Moreover, the situation also seems to concern SPID, and involves both the app and the website of Poste Italiane. The disruption therefore prevents users from making transfers, payments and, more generally, monitoring their account.

Around 13:00, as reported by Libero, the situation has slightly improved. Some users have indeed managed to access the accounts, but the displayed data is incomplete. Inefficiencies are occurring throughout the national territory.
