Apple: in 2022 comes an iMac Pro with a 27 ″ Mini-LED display
The analyst and expert in displays and related technologies Ross Young explained that we will see the next iMac Pro from Apple between the end of March and the first weeks of June 2022, with great probability that it will be announced at the now classic spring event in Cupertino.
Although rumors have been circulating about an even larger display, it seems Apple has settled on one 27-inch screen for iMac Pro. Three inches more than the M1-chip iMacs introduced a few months ago. The screen should also have support for a refresh rate from 120Hz with technology ProMotion.
From a hardware standpoint, these computers should have a chip M1 Pro o Max (also in double configuration), depending on the model. This should also allow it to be used for video editing, albeit not with the speed with which you can work like Mac Pro (but even in this case a version with Silicon chip would be coming).
Young explained that the screen of the new iMac Pros will still be on Mini–LED, although there are rumors that Apple wants to switch to OLED technology for its devices. Young actually thinks that at least until 2023 we will not see iPads or Macs with OLED panels.
