FUJIFILM presents the Profumo di Vita calendar #neldirittodelbambino 2022 with the shots taken by X-Photographer Elena Givone
Strengthened by the message to be delivered, the Profumo di Vita calendar #neldirittodelbambino 2022 is being distributed. This is an artistic-social project born from the collaboration between the Legal @ rte Association, made up of members of the State Police, and X-Photographer Elena Givone, with the support of FUJIFILM Italia. Its purpose is to create a moment of study on the hidden phenomenon of “child-assisted violence”, ie children who are obliged spectators of physical and psychological violence between adults.

The phenomenon of “violence witnessed by minors” is still little known, or better still not focused on a large scale and that can turn into a social problem, taking into account that those adult parents with their actions present their children with a reference model, with a high risk of intergenerational transmission of mistreating / abusive behaviors.
The Turin artist Elena Givone has chosen to make her shots available, precisely her Newborn and Maternity photography, to raise awareness on the issue. Thus was born the 2022 edition of the Profumo di Vita #neldirittodelbambino calendar. Women, mothers with their creatures, posed in a place of splendor, the Reggia di Venaria, in dialogue with the beauty of motherhood.
The distribution of calendars takes place through the “Suspended Milk” initiative. At some participating pharmacies, the calendar will be donated to those who purchase, at a controlled price, a pack of powdered milk for babies to be distributed to new mothers in difficulty through the diocesan Caritas.
At the presentation of the calendar this is followed by the inauguration of the Profumo di vita exhibition, which can be visited until 9 January 2022 at the Sale delle Arti of the Reggia di Venaria.
All the photographs of the calendar and of the exhibition were taken with FUJIFILM Large Format GFX100S. The images on display were printed on FUJIFILM Original Photo Paper silver halide photographic paper, using the RA4 chemical process.

The Profumo di Vita exhibition at the Reggia di Venaria
The exhibition, curated by Roberta Di Chiara, offers a special multisensory journey, in which the images are accompanied by the notes of the musician Stefano Cannone and an olfactory “journey” in the fragrance created by the Maison Diletta Tonatto. Furthermore, in an in-depth space, a QR opens to the vision of the short film Il Silenzio del Dolore, interpreted by Elena Ruzza, taken from an autobiographical text by the policewoman and psychotherapist Katia Ferraguzzi that deals with the theme of minors, victims of witnessed violence.
The backstage video of the production of the project will also be visible within the exhibition itinerary, shot by the videomaker Elia Savona, and a wall created by the photographer with the help of the new instax Link Wide, instant development printer. During the shots taken with GFX100S, Givone in fact printed part of the images on site on WIDE snapshots, in order to have a broader view of the story and the work carried out during the production phase.
