The Winter Contingency Christmas event is going online on Halo Infinite, which includes a new armor set to match the holidays
Finally, Halo Infinite will also have its own Christmas event. The title produced by 343 Industries adds to the long list of video games that have introduced a special event in which, in one way or another, Christmas is celebrated: from the event of Yule on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, to the Christmas one of Call of Duty, up to the long-lasting festival of Long winter in World of Warcraft.
Halo Infinite: this is what the Christmas event is all about
The Halo Infinite Christmas event will run for two weeks, from 21 December 2021 to 4 January 2022. Winter Contingency it had already been announced a month ago, and it was anticipated that it would be in multiplayer. How to get the exclusive rewards of the season? Simply, it will be enough participate to a match for a prize, whether you win the game or lose it. Only one piece of armor can be unlocked per day, so you’ll need to be consistent.
What does the loot of these Christmas matches? There will be several pieces of armor and also cosmetic accessories, such as paints and shoulder straps. The cousin rank will have as a reward the Wild Justice plate, and hence all the various elements of the equipment, from the typical ones Christmas colors red, white and green. Various will also be present weapons, just to spice things up a bit and make it more interesting. Winter Contingency it will be followed by the second part of the event Fracture: Tenrai, in which new features and new armors will be introduced (including the entire Kabuto armor). We just have to play this new seasonal event, and start earning our Christmas set!
