Magnima will present its innovative AirPoint Ring at CES in Las Vegas, an event to be held from 5 to 8 January 2022. This is the official news coming from the Californian multinational.
Magnima: AirPoint Ring arrives, the product features
Literally a ring. A wireless tool that can be worn on the finger of one hand useful for teachers, trainers and speakers.
The AirPoint Ring is the world’s first mouse that offers dual surface and aerial (remote) tracking. Designed to offer out of the ordinary presentations: it allows users to switch slides with gestures from a distance from the target work.
With the touch of a finger, any app on a connected Mac, Windows, iPad or tablet can be controlled wirelessly.
The advantage is that, having this tool on hand, teachers can for example be away from the desk and still interact with students while remotely controlling a host device, allowing them total freedom to teach from anywhere.
As well as for those engaged in teaching, this also applies to trainers and speakers, who in courses and company conventions can thus be freer to involve the public in front of them.
Magnima: AirPoint Ring arrives, some curiosities
The tool we are talking about will arrive in “physical form” in the early days of 2022, but at CES it had already made its debut: the first time as a “concept” in 2020, the second time with virtual exposure – due to a pandemic – in 2021 .
The merit of this invention? From developer Anoop Joseph: Firmware engineer for IBM from 2005 to 2008, but not only, and now a permanent member of the Magnima team.
When did the AirPoint Ring first patent? In 2017, when Anoop Joseph, collaborating with a colleague of his, found the main way by obtaining three patents from there.

The product, which is manufactured in Southern California, is available on both Amazon and Magnima’s official website.
