Bad news for fans who have been waiting for the release of a new chapter in the Grand Theft Auto saga for years: GTA 6 could be released in 2024. If this were true, it would be 11 years from the previous title in the series.
According to insiders, the release of GTA 6 will take place no earlier than two years
New predictions arrive regarding GTA 6, whose release is now highly anticipated by fans. The last chapter of the famous Rockstar Games saga is in fact dated 2013, when it came out Grand Theft Auto 5, which included the still very current open world Online. Apparently though there will still be a long way to go.
The rumors come from Axios and VGC, and leaked directly from the financial data of Take-Two (publisher of the GTA saga). The brand would have in fact recently acquired Zynga – we talked about it here – reporting that the company objectives are those of growth of 14% by 2024. Data that to us mere mortals seem simple benchmarks, but which experts have interpreted differently.
In fact, sector analysts believe that 14% is equivalent to approximately 9 billion dollars. According to experts this figure means only one thing: Grand Theft Auto 6. The Jefferies experts, on the other hand, are more cautious, calling for greater calm by stating “there are a handful of stocks that can produce this volume of money”.
The rumors about an upcoming release of GTA 6 have been running around since the release of GTA 5. In recent months, increasingly insistent rumors were talking about a definitive launch of the title by the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023. A tough tile then for fans who, if the insider’s theories are confirmed, will have to wait until March 2024. Moreover, internal rumors had already leaked last month that spoke of problems in the development phase of the title.
Meanwhile, one will be released in March of this year remaster di Grand Theft Auto 5 per console new-gen (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S). The most nostalgic, on the other hand, were satisfied with the famous GTA The Trilogy, released in November 2021.
