A list with playable and verified titles on Steam Deck has appeared on the net, among them are Death Stranding, Dark Souls 3, Sekiro
In October, Valve confirmed that it had initiated the process of reviewing the entire game library available on Steam and prepare various titles for Steam Deck. This would see the games receive one of three tags: Verified, indicating games fully optimized for the console; Playable, which refers to those that will run on the device but may not be fully optimized; And Unsupported, which are games not currently running on the laptop. Well, from the first lists leaked on the net it emerged that leading titles such as Death Stranding, Dark Souls 3 e Ax have been optimized for the console. Let’s see all the details about it in the next lines of this article.
Steam Deck: Death Stranding, Dark Souls 3, Sekiro will run properly on Valve’s console and this is just the beginning
The first batch of games in these three categories has now been revealed (courtesy of SteamDB) and there are some cool names on each list. The list of unsupported games is pretty short with only 5 games, although there is one notable name: Persona 4 Golden. The game page reports that Valve is still working on adding full support to the game so hopefully things will work out for the better in the future.
So far 24 games have the tag Playable (playable). The list includes the likes of The Witcher 3, Slay the Spire, Inscryption, Subnautica, Valheim, Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, NieR: Automata, Bravely Default 2, and more. This means that these games are playable on Steam Deck right now, but they may still encounter some issues here and there.
Finally, there is the first batch of games Steam Deck Verified, which lists 38 titles right now and already looks impressive, games that have already been fully optimized for the upcoming handheld device include the likes of Portal 2, Celeste, Hollow Knight, Dishonored, Cuphead 2, Psychonauts 2, Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Death’s Door, Death Stranding, Mad Max, Scarlet Nexus, Aliens: Fireteam Elite, Hot Wheels Unleashed, the imminent Total War: Warhammer 3 and many others.
