Journalist and insider Tom Henderson recently stated, through a report published by Xfire, that FIFA 23 will support cross-play: let’s find out all the details together
The success of FIFA 22 continues undaunted, and the Electronic Arts title is gaining ground with respect to Konami’s disastrous eFootball, which in any case seems to want to defend itself. Six months have not even passed since the release of the new iteration of the most famous football franchise ever, and rumors about the next one are already beginning. According to a Tom Henderson report released on Xfire, Electronic Arts has big plans for FIFA 23which at least for this year should not change its name.
The first big step is the cross-play, which according to the report will be available from the next chapter of FIFA and will therefore allow players of PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms to play together for the first time. Not only that, according to Henderson, EA’s Hypermotion technology would have been updated with a high-caliber update, and would now allow you to capture the animations of the players without the use of Xsens suits, but only through the footage captured by the cameras of the stadiums. The new technology would also allow EA to capture “100 times more” the data needed to build the new chapter, compared to what has been done so far for the franchise.
FIFA 23: space for cross-play and the women’s league!
Furthermore, in FIFA 23, according to the report, EA will give more space to women’s football, expanding the number of licensed agreements currently available, and there will be both the men’s and women’s World Cups. In short, the possibility of losing the FIFA name is not giving EA great worries, at least apparently, and the company seems willing to push the franchise beyond what it has always been.
