State of Play: here are the announcements of the Sony event

A new one took place on the evening of Wednesday 9 September State of Play di Sony during that several were carried out ads regarding the titles coming up in the coming months. Let’s take a look at what the Japanese giant showed us during the event, which focused on the developers of the Rising Sun, with several interesting productions.

State of Play: here are all the announcements from Sony

Exoprimal

To open the dance was a new IP developed by none other than Capcom, the software house of Monster Hunter and Resident Evil. We are talking about Exoprimal, that is a cooperative title in which we will fight against hordes and hordes of dinosaurs; yes you got it right.

The game seems to have many traits in common with the great cooperative games of recent years and we are sure that from the Monster Hunter studio we will see a really interesting combat design. The title is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Ghostwire Tokyo

Soon after we got to see a new trailer for Ghostwire Tokyowhich opened an interesting window on the narrative of the title, without forgetting the gameplay, of which we were able to appreciate some sequences.

Forspoken

After being postponed, Forspoken showed up again in a new trailer, which allowed us to be amazed by the breathtaking action proposed by the game. The new release date of the game is set for the next one October, but the production seems rather informative according to what is seen in this video. All that remains is to wait for the finished product to be able to evaluate it by hand.

Gundman Evolution

Another multiplayer game but this time competitive, Gundam Evolution looks like a daydream for all lovers of the famous anime franchise. The game will have three competitive modes and promises lots of action always ready to wink at fans of the saga. In short, if you like Gundams, this title is absolutely not to be missed.

Trek to Yomi

Gone from radar for a long time, Trek to Yomi has returned to show itself in a new interesting video, which underlined the black and white aesthetics and the plot that will characterize the story. The game is heavily inspired by vintage samurai movies with scrolling 2D gameplay. The game is expected to arrive this year.

Returnal – Ascension

There were also DLCs, with the free additional content of Returnal Ascension, which adds new elements of plot and gameplay along with the cooperative mode. This is a full-bodied update that will surely make the lovers of this very valid roguelite happy.

The DioField Chrnonicle

Returning to the Square Enix products, The DioField Chronicle also made its appearance for the occasion, an interesting strategic video game with an isometric view that seems to want to resume the path taken years ago with the Final Fantasy Tactics saga.

The game should feature a deep and intriguing story brought to life by a stellar cast, a fascinating soundtrack and a new “Real-Time Tactical Battle” (RTTB) system.

Valkyrie Elysium

The last announcement of the evening was Valkyrie Elysium, always developed by Square Enix and which is most likely a continuation of the Valkyrie Profile franchise. The game seems to have an action gameplay with strategic elements and presents a graphics made in cell shading that from the trailer, however, did not shine particularly for quality of realization.

The game will arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 and could tie into Forspoken in some way, as evidenced by the final scene of the movie.
