The Pokémon Company has announced the arrival of a new update, available March 16, which brings the Mythical Pokémon Darkrai and Arceus to Pokémon Shining Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl.
Arceus and Darkrai arrive in Pokémon Shining Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl. Here’s how to get them:
– Meet Arceus: In order to meet Arceus in Pokémon Shining Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, you need to download updates (version 1.3.0) and have a Pokémon Legends: Arceus save file on the Nintendo Switch console in which all main missions have been completed. Additionally, after entering the Hall of Honor and obtaining the National Pokédex, it will be possible to receive the Sky Flute item in Pokémon Shining Diamond or Pokémon Shining Pearl. After fulfilling these conditions, players will be able to go to the entrance to the Spear Peak, where they will see the Mythical Pokémon Arceus appear.
– Getting Darkrai: from 06:24 (UTC) of Friday 1 April 2022 to 20:28 (UTC) of Saturday 30 April 2022 it will be possible to receive the Member Card tool as a gift. After obtaining this item, by accessing the Secret Gift feature and selecting the Via Internet option in the game and having met certain conditions (entering the Hall of Honor, receiving the National Pokédex and completing the event in the related game in Cresselia), it will be possible to reach Newmoon Island, where the Mythical Pokémon Darkrai is located.
