Startersdeveloped by Foggy Box Games, is the new experience of bartending VR available now on Oculus Quest e Oculus Quest 2. It is an addictive arcade style game with a wacky sci-fi storytelling, which puts gamers on behind the counter mixing cocktails for an assortment of weird and wonderful customers. Startenders, now available on Oculus Quest
As a trainee just enrolled in the Startenders Academyplayers will have to shake, slice and serve customers for increase their skills behind the bar. Starter offers more than 100 recipes that they use over 25 ingredients and which can be served to three different temperaturesin three styles of glass and topped with 13 different side dishes.
This means that they will have to be especially careful on the counter. They are in fact more than two million unique combinations of drinks possible.
Startenders offers the game modes Story, Free Mix, Pass the Headset e Daily Runallowing players to enjoy ahilarious narrative adventure. They will also meet new alien species, experiment with the craziest cocktails and participate in daily challenges that will test their skills. Chris Youlescreative director of Foggy Box Games, said:
We wanted each player’s Startenders experience to be unique, so we built a system that could deliver infinite procedurally generated turns, with different customers and orders every time you play. We have endeavored to create an experience where players aren’t punished for having fun, even if it means going off script. The game has no fail-states or reboots, we want players to experiment and let their creativity influence their mixology.
