Tom Cruise returns as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in Top Gun. Released the new Italian trailer of the film
After so many postponements we finally have the official date of the film. Top Gun: Maverick, will hit theaters starting in May 25. It was presented at the Cannes Film Festival and is set 36 years after Tony Scott’s legendary Top gun. The new film will narrate the sequel to the adventures of Pete Maverick Mitchell, once again with the face of Tom Cruise.

The cast and the plot
In addition to the aforementioned protagonist, Tom Cruisein the cast are also present Val Kilmer, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Ed Harris, Lewis Pullman.
Lieutenant Pete Maverick Mitchell, still one of the best aviators in the Navy, after more than thirty years of service he is still in the only place he would like to be.

Maverick will be recalled to train a new special team of students from the Top Gun academy for a secret mission, and it is on this occasion that he will meet the lieutenant. Bradley Badshawsaid Rooster (played by Miles Teller), which is none other than the son of his old flight mate Nick Badshawsaid Goose.
Finding himself once again struggling with an uncertain future and with the ghosts of his past, Maverick will have to prove himself facing his deepest fears, in order to carry out a very difficult mission, which will require a great sacrifice on the part of all those who participate in it.
