In a post on the Battlefield 2042 blog, DICE provided examples of how community feedback is key in the improvements made to the game.

The Battlefield 2042 development team strongly values feedback and criticism from their community. This is confirmed by the data (and screens) reported by DICE on the official blog of the game, where a series of parameters regarding the design of the maps that come from users are studied in depth.
“On March 2nd, we announced the launch of the Core Feedback initiative, which helps us take your recommendations into consideration. Today we are happy to reveal to you how your requests affect our work to improve the game ”, reads the post. In particular, the developers referred to the numerous comments left by the players on the blog and on the various social networks (Twitter, Discord, Reddit, etc.). The major changes listed on the site concern in particular the Kaledoscoipe and Renewal maps.
The developers have also promised a new Core Feedback to be held in a few weeks. In that case we will analyze the figure of the Specialists, and how they will be improved thanks to the comments of the players. “We know that Specialists are an important topic for the community, and we can’t wait to share with you what we have planned to improve the gameplay,” concludes the post.
