Star Wars in Kingdom Hearts 4?
Yesterday (April 10), Square Enix announced the imminent arrival of Kingdom Hearts 4, with a trailer that revealed the gameplay images of the game. Inside the trailer, as many fans have noted, there could be a clue to a hypothetical crossover with the Star Wars universe. In fact, about 30 seconds from the beginning of the video, a lush forest appears, very reminiscent of Endor, planet of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, of 1983.
Many users on the net claim that from the trailer it is possible to glimpse what would be a “foot” of the AT-ST, a vehicle belonging to the universe of George Lucas, which appears in The Return of the Jedi. The spacecraft would be visible at the 35 second of the trailer, top right of the screen. It could be just a coincidence, however the news was also picked up by Star Wars News Net, which provided a parallel between the frame of the trailer and that of the film.
The hypothesis acquires even more consistency if you think that Kingdom Hearts 4 will be set in the Disney universe, a company that has held the rights to Star Wars since 2012.
