The Pokémon Company International announces the new animated series that will transport fans on a new adventure called Hisui’s Snow
It will be called Hisui’s snow the new web series of the Pokémon world, whose trailer was screened during the Pokémon Presents event on Pokémon Day 2022. For now we know that it will be broadcast exclusively on the official Pokémon Youtube channel and on Pokémon TV on May 18, 2022, so please note the date!
The adventure will be set in the ancient Hisui region of the Pokémon world, first explored in the video game Pokémon Legends: Arceus and represents the ancient region of Sinnoh before the existence of Pokémon Trainers and Leagues.
The web series is set in an ancient era when the relationship between humans and Pokémon was very different.
The plot
On a boat to the Hisui region, the protagonist Alec goes back in memory to when he visited it for the first time with his father. Over the course of three episodes, Hisui’s Snow will retrace some events from Alec’s past. For now we don’t know anything else, but if we have more news we will be the first to reveal them to our loyal public!
Characters
Those who decide to give Hisui’s Snow a chance will get to know Hisui’s Pokémon and new, unmissable exclusive characters created specifically for this web series.
We also reveal some details that The Pokémon Company International has given us about the characters and Pokémon that we will find in the series.
We know that Alec is on his way to the Hisui region in search of medicinal herbs. He is a mild-tempered young man who is studying to become a doctor. As a child, he once accompanied his father on a trip to the Hisui region. As a child he was more adventurous and spiteful.
Alec’s father, on the other hand, is a carpenter. He lived in another region, but moved to Hisui recently to procure materials. He began to be afraid of Pokémon following a certain incident of which we do not yet know the details.
Then we have Zorua (form of Hisui), the Rancorvolpe Pokémon that lives in the Hisui region. The wandering spirits of those Zorua who died after being driven from their home are said to come back to life in this form, fueled by the strength of their hatred of humans and Pokémon.
The animated series is produced by The Pokémon Company International in collaboration with WIT STUDIO.
